A stolen Army National Guard laptop has put the personal information of certain soldiers at risk.
How many victims? 131,000.
What type of personal information? Names, Social Security numbers, incentive payment amounts and payment dates.
What happened? The laptop was stolen from an Army Guard contractor on July 27. It contained the personal information of current and former soldiers enrolled in the Army National Guard bonus and incentives program.
What was the response? Letters were sent to affected individuals, and a website and call center were created to provide information about the breach.
