Adobe Connect forum pulled offline after database breach

Connectusers.com, an Adobe customer forum for its Connect online-conferencing service, was pulled offline by Adobe after the forum's database was breached. As of Wednesday afternoon EST, the site was still down, a day after reports about the occurrence surfaced and Adobe took the site offline as a security measure. On Tuesday, a hacker who claimed to be from Egypt, leaked more than 600 records from an Adobe server, including emails. Guillaume Privat, the director of Adobe Connect, wrote in a blog post on Wednesday that although an “unauthorized third party” likely compromised the site, it didn't appear that the conferencing service itself, or any other Adobe services, were affected by the incident. Adobe is currently resetting passwords of affected forum members.
