Adobe releases updates for Flash Player, AIR

Adobe has patched seven "critical" vulnerabilities in its Flash Player and AIR products with its latest security updates, released Tuesday. The scheduled update addresses holes that could cause the affected systems to crash and potentially be taken over by an attacker. The patches address issues in Flash Player 11.4.402.287 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh; Flash 11.2.202.243 and earlier versions for Linux; and Adobe AIR 3.4.0.2710 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Software Development Kit (SDK), which includes AIR and IOS, and Android. Other fixes address Flash 11.1.115.20 and earlier versions for Android 4.x and Flash 11.1.111.19 and earlier versions for Android 3.x and 2.x. Adobe did not discover any of the vulnerabilities being exploited in the wild.
