After taking home a Soul Train Award Toronto rapper Drake may be looking to change his Fortnite account password after someone hijacked his account to spew racial slurs during a charity livestream event.
Livestreamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was streaming for The Ellen Fund, a wildlife conservation fund created by Ellen host Ellen DeGeneres, when he received an invite from Drake’s Epic Games account “Duddus647.”
The account initially remained silent on Drake’s end after Ninja attempted to communicate with the rapper who usually plays Fortnite on PlayStation 4, not PC, the platform in which the event took place on.
Ninja then repeatedly doublechecked his audio settings and tried reaching out over voice again before the hijacker began spewing the n-word multiple times prompting Ninja to leave the party, contact Drake and report the issue to Epic Games.
A Twitter user by the moniker EBKOwen has since claimed responsibility for the hack and posted images of accessing the rappers account and partying up with Ninja along with other photos suggesting that he may also be behind other high profile account hijackings targeting FaZe clan members as well as rapper Travis Scott.
