»John Miller has joined The Information Technology Industry Council, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association, as vice president of global cybersecurity policy and law. Miller has nearly a decade of experience working in cybersecurity, privacy, surveillance and on other public policy issues. Prior to joining ITI, Miller was the director of cybersecurity policy and government relations and managing counsel at Intel.
»Chris Taylor has joined Outlier Security, a Lake Tahoe, Nev.-based startup security firm, as vice president of professional services. Taylor will lead the consulting team to deliver critical professional services to help fight cybercrime in both the public and private sectors. Taylor previously served as the director of incident response for Intel Security.
»Trustwave, a Chicago-based security firm, was acquired by Singapore Telecommunication Limited (Singtel) for $770 million. Trustwave will now be a standalone business unit within Singtel Group Enterprise. The company said it plans to use the data from Singtel's Asia-Pacific network and Advanced Security Operations Center to feed additional threat intelligence into its managed security services.

He has more than 25 years of business and technical experience in IT security.

ThreatSTOP has partnered with Network Value Components (NVC) to recruit and manage resellers in Japan and provide sales training and technical support to joint customers in the region.
