Nancy Reynolds (left) has joined anti-virus vendor Kaspersky Lab as senior vice president of corporate sales. She is charged with managing the channel program for the Americas. Reynolds previously worked at Dell, where she was tasked with developing the company’s enterprise channel strategy, and at Trend Micro. Kaspersky also has named Dan Burke vice president of U.S. sales.

Yuval Ben-Itzhak has joined AVG’s Virus Research Lab to serve as senior VP of engineering. He formerly served as CTO of Finjan, now part of M86 Security, where he led the company’s vision, strategy, innovation, IP and technology. In addition, AVG has added two other researchers to its team to assist with detecting threats and preventing exploits.

Start-up eCert has partnered with Google, Yahoo and a number of major banks to launch its email authentication service. eCert leverages a centralized service that registers, maintains and monitors domains that send email, and shares that information with email service providers.
