In response to complex and targeted attacks, organizations are building threat analysis capabilities. There is a growing need for advanced threat analysts, or ATAs.
What it takes
ATAs possess technical depth and a creative, adaptive mindset. Deep technical knowledge and an understanding of the dark side of human nature are core requirements, along with risk assessment, threat detection, incident response and remediation skills. Security clearances and intelligence experience are also desirable.
Demand is strongest within defense and critical infrastructure verticals. Base compensation starts above $100K.
