GCHQ certified course to improve cyber-attack response and recovery

If they are to limit damaging effects, enterprises must prepare and equip themselves with the proper skills to react to and prevent cyber-attacks.

A GCHQ certified course by Logical Operations has been developed to educate organisations on responding to attacks. CyberSec First Responder: Threat Detection and Response (CFR) will prepare businesses hands-on to understand the anatomy of an attack and what it'll need before, during and after a breach to minimise the impact.

“Unless you're monitoring your network constantly, and are in a position to act within minutes, you'll have lost essential information to a competitor or face a serious PR crisis. It's therefore critical that IT teams possess the knowledge and skills to respond quickly and appropriately to breaches as and when they happen,” said Richard Pharro, CEO of APMG International.

Security professionals will be trained to become the first line of response against cyber-attacks after learning to properly analyse threats, defend networks, design secure computing and network environments, and respond to and investigate incidents.

Bill Rosenthal, CEO of Logical Operations stated, “The stakes are incredibly high when it comes to data security and cyber-security training is critical to helping businesses make sense of the incredible fast-paced threat landscape.”
