Microsoft has kicked off a new bug bounty program centered on its OneDrive cloud storage system with a potential payday topping out at $15,000.
The company will offer payments between $500 and $15,000 to researchers who report issues that are confirmed to be vulnerabilities to the Microsoft Online Services Bug Bounty Program. Microsoft offered its first bug bounty in 2013 when it offered a $100,000 reward to the first person to hack Windows 8.1 and $50,000 for Internet Explorer 11.

Google recently double its bug bounty prize to anyone compromising Chromebook and in early March the U.S. Department of Defense implemented bounty program to try and crowdsource the security of their public facing websites and internal networks.
