Microsoft will let loose six security fixes next Tuesday as part of its latest round of monthly Patch Tuesday releases.
The company reported that one of the patches will fix a critical flaw in the Microsoft XML Core Services. The other five fixes all affect Microsoft Windows, with at least one of these rated as critical as well.
In addition to these security fixes, the company is rolling out several other updates this month, including a new version of the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool.
Microsoft also noted that it will be offering up two other undisclosed non-security, but high-priority, updates via Microsoft Update (MU) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
The company also warned users that this is the last month that patches will be available through Software Update Services (SUS), as the system will be retired in early December. Companies still using SUS are advised to upgrade to WSUS before December's Patch Tuesday.
