Two RSA attendees contract Coronavirus

Two Exabeam employees who attended the RSA Conference 2020 have been diagnosed with Coronavirus last month.

Bloomberg is reporting that one of the workers is 45-years-old engineer who returned home to Connecticut on February 28 and became ill. He was hospitalized and has since been placed in a medically induced coma and is on a respirator. No details on the second person were given.

Exabeam told Bloomberg it is not clear if the virus was contracted at the show or some other time.

The company has since instituted a work from home policy for those who work in its Foster City, Calif. facility.

RSA had confirmed that 14 companies had pulled out of the show over Coronavirus fears with AT&T, Verizon and IBM being the biggest names involved.
