SecureWorks, provider of managed security services (MSS), has completed its acquisition of VeriSign's MSS business, the company announced Tuesday. The move by VeriSign aligns with a 2007 decision to concentrate on its core internet infrastructure business and divest other units. The deal, meanwhile, allows SecureWorks to bolster its hold as one of the security industry's few remaining managed services pure-plays. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. – DK

Stronger water cybersecurity sought by new legislation

Nexperia impacted by cyberattack

Nexperia had some of its servers confirmed to be compromised in a cyberattack last month following a report from Dutch broadcast firm RTL detailing attackers' claims of having exfiltrated hundreds of gigabytes of data from the Chinese-owned Dutch semiconductor manufacturer, according to Cybernews.
