Two Detroit area men have been arrested after Texas police officers making a routine traffic stop discovered card reading devices that may be connected to the Home Depot breach.
The local ABC News affiliate in Detroit reported that the officers in Texas found the readers when they stopped Antoine Lee of Oak Park, Mich., and Stephen Parker of Detroit. The two men are being investigated in connection with the breach which resulted in the information for 56 million credit and debit cards being stolen from the retailer. News of the breach first surfaced in early September. Two men were arrested in South Charleston, W.Va., in mid-September for using stolen card information to make purchases, according to a local news report.
Lee and Parker have been charged with possession of criminal devices, the news report said.
