Multiple news outlets reported Monday that former President Donald Trump's website was defaced by the Turkish hacker RootAyyildiz.

According to the U.S. version of the British tabloid The Sun, the message reportedly said: "Do not be like those who forgot Allah, so Allah made them forget themselves. Here they really went astray"

The defacement occurred on the site's "action" subdomain where the Trump campaign calls for action such as petitions, reported Vice.com, which also said included a nationalist YouTube video of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The action page of the Trump site had been replaced, saying it could not be found because it "might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable," by the time SC Media tried to confirm the reporting.

The same hacker also allegedly defaced Joe Biden's campaign website in November 2020, reported The Sun.
