OneTrust on Monday launched the OneTrust Ethics and Compliance Cloud to foster and promote an ethical culture within organizations, maximize insights into the health of their culture, and support leaders in acting decisively upon areas of risk.

In making the announcement at Compliance Week in Washington, OneTrust said its new cloud platform will empower businesses to build and promote ethical and transparent behaviors, create speak-up cultures, and offer strategic value to business operations so leaders can manage risk more effectively.

“People want to work for companies they can trust,” said Asha Palmer, chief ethics and compliance officer at OneTrust. “Ethical business practices provide the foundation for businesses to inspire that trust, allowing them to showcase their values to stakeholders at every level.”

OneTrust had developed a very malleable, flexible platform which has allowed them to quickly develop governance, risk, and compliance solutions that are effective and meaningful for their customers and partners, said Christopher Prewitt, chief technology officer at MRK Technologies.

“The new ethics and compliance cloud helps deliver employee-centric training to the already powerful third-party compliance platform,” Prewitt said.

Casey Ellis, founder and CTO at Bugcrowd, added that as they say at Bugcrowd: “it takes a crowd.”

“Cybersecurity defense is a team sport, both internally and externally,” Ellis said. “I love how the emphasis of this initiative seems to be putting a focus on unity across departments.”
