LeakedSource apparently raided by law enforcement

Ethically questionable for-profit breach notification site LeakedSource has apparently vanished after beign raided by law enforcement.

The website appears to have been pulled offline and only displays a brief note apologizing for the inconvenience and claiming the site is down forever, according to ZDNet.

“Wasn't arrested, but all SSD's got taken, and Leakedsource servers got subpoena'd and placed under federal investigation,” the site reportedly said. “If somehow he recovers from this and launches LS again, then I'll be wrong.”

It is unclear where the LeakedSource members are located or which law enforcement agency was involved in the incident.

LeakedSource has generated controversy in the past for allowing subscribers to access raw data including passwords  which could ultimately lead to its users obtaining credentials necessary to hack other sites where users may have used the same login information.
