The International Association of Certified ISAOs (IACI) has announced a strategic partnership with IBM to integrate that company’s IBM i2 Intelligence Analysis technology into IACINet.
This integration will help intelligence analysis for ISAOs (Information Sharing and Analysis Organizations) replace legacy reactive and manual analysis strategies with proactive, near real-time intelligence information sharing, and visual intelligence analysis including pre-built analytics.
“This strategic collaboration between IACI and IBM advances actionable intelligence information sharing by identifying, investigating and uncovering connections, patterns and relationships within the vast amounts of multiple sourced data, bringing clarity and visual analysis to support a comprehensive understanding of the expanding threat landscape…moving from a reactive to a proactive stance,” said Deborah Kobza, IACI President.
IACINet is a threat intelligence sharing platform used to connect and share data nationally and internationally with the public- and private-sector, including ISAOs/ISAO members, government, academia, U.S. DHS/US-CERT, NATO/NCIRC and NATO members. In addition, IACINet acts as a central conduit of information for 6,000 private sector organizations, 139 CERTS and the Public Safety ISAO.
