New security tool to mask your face available on Ashley Madison

For anyone wanting to remain anonymous, Ashley Madison is now allowing its users to add a mask to their profile picture with a new security tool called discreet photo.

CNNMoney says that the tool lets users pick from two different masks, a black bar that covers the eyes, or four variations of blurring. The tool also uses face recognition software to determine where the mask will be placed on the photo.

Ashley Madison's website says, “We respect your need for discretion so we've added some tools to keep your identity a secret. Upload a new photo and you will have the option to crop it and add a mask.”

The tool seems to be part of the adultery site's efforts to give members a deeper sense of security following the major hack last summer.

Ashley Madison claims that its numbers are growing as adults continue to use the site more than ever.
