Oxley, as in Sarbanes-Oxley, or as in former U.S. Rep. Michael Oxley, is one of the biggest and most used names in IT security.

As in Tiger Woods big? Probably not, although he was regarded as one of Congress’ best golfers during his 26-year tenure, which ended in January (he retired).

Now a lobbyist for Nasdaq, Oxley played with 2003 Masters champion Mike Weir at the AT&T National Pro-Am on Wednesday, according to the Examiner’s Yeas and Nays blog.

An interesting note: Oxley is from the same hometown (Findlay, Ohio) and attended the same university (Miami University of Ohio) as Super Bowl winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
