Global software provider Fix City has made two new UK appointments. Sales manager Matthew Barkway has been promoted to director of sales and will join Fix City's co-founders, Paul Scott, Amy Muddimer and Karl Breeze, on the board of directors. Barkway previously worked for Nexa Technologies, Autex and GL Trade. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading new business negations and overseeing the UK sales teams.

Kate Roberts has joined the company as account manager from Omgeo, where she was global relationship manager. She has also worked for banking group ABN AMRO, as client connectivity manager. As account manager, Roberts will focus on reinforcing relationships with ioinet's buy-and sell-side clients.

Both of these appointments follow a significant growth in the number of buy-and sell-side firms using ioinet, Fix City's web-based indication of interest distribution solution.
