Revenge porn site operator, Hunter Moore, pleads guilty

The infamous owner and operator of revenge porn website IsAnyoneUp[dot]com has plead guilty to hacking into email accounts and stealing explicit images.

On Tuesday, 28-year-old Hunter Moore pleaded guilty to unauthorized access to a computer, aiding and abetting unauthorized access of a computer, and identity theft, according to court documents. In January 2014 Moore, along with 25-year-old Charles Evens, were arrested by federal authorities. The popularity of Moore's website led to others mimicking its same content, which consists of illegally obtained nude photos being posted without a subject's permission.

Kevin Bollaert of San Diego, Calif., was recently convicted of operating one of the copycat sites and now faces up to 20 years in prison.

The charges he currently faces have a maximum penalty of two to five years in prison.
