Seattle, Boston voted riskiest online cities

Seattle, Boston and Washington, D.C. rank as the top three "riskiest online cities," according to a new cybercrime report from Symantec. The security firm based its findings on attack and malware data, in addition to behavior, such the prevalence for residents to shop online or use Wi-Fi hotspots. San Francisco and Raleigh, N.C. rounded out the top five, which consisted of some of the most tech-savvy cities on the 50-member list. Detroit was rated least riskiest, attributable to limited internet access and computer equipment purchases. — DK
