Spotify user account info found on Pastebin

For the second time in three months a number of Spotify Premium customers had their account information leaked and posted on Pastebin.

Starting early last week the information of several hundred Spotify users was placed on Pastebin, with Forbes confirming with 80 of those individuals that the data released was actually correct. The released data included email addresses, passwords, account type, and the person's home country.

Spotify told Forbes that it does not know how the information was obtained, but the music-streaming service is certain that the company had not been hacked.

Last November more than 1,000 Spotify passwords and email addresses were leaked in a similar fashion.
