Protect Data AB has acquired Reflex Software. The £12.3 million cash deal was completed in November. Reflex Software had net sales of £3.1 million in the year ending 31st March 2006. Peter Larsson (pictured), CEO for Protect Data, said the deal reflected the growing customer demand for port and device control solutions.
Global 360 has set up a strategic partnership with Ireland-based Phoenix Technology Group to offer customers the ability to make business-critical processes more competitive and compliant. The move will combine Global 360's BPM technology with Phoenix Technology's knowledge of the finance sector.
Servo has been bought by the Phoenix IT Group for a total of £30.25 million. The deal will enable Servo to improve its business continuity and disaster recovery services for its SME customers, by partnering with Phoenix's NDR business unit."
Accenture and Symantec Security Transformation Services has launched, offering data security solutions to companies struggling with IT risk management. Comprised of consultants from both Accenture and Symantec, the organisation will focus on three key areas: compliance, security monitoring and management, and application security.
Initially these services will be available in North America and Europe, with global expansion expected to follow in a couple of months.

Specialising in secure identification and ID management, the new company will be able to offer a broad knowledge base to its clients, particularly in areas such as interoperability, flexibility, convergence, reliability and standards.
AppStream has joined Altiris's Developer Program and has adjusted its products to make them compatible with Altiris Software Virtualization Solution (SVS) technology. It is now possible to use AppStream 5.1 to provide instant delivery and activation of applications virtualised by Altiris SVS software.
