A man in Northport, Ala. is suing a convenience store chain that experienced a credit card breach this spring.
Ian Yeager filed a class-action lawsuit against Brentwood, Tenn.-based Mapco Express, claiming that the company was negligent in leaving customers' financial data vulnerable when hackers breached its processing systems and installed malware, according to the The Tuscaloosa News.
Mapco runs hundreds of convenience stores throughout the South. Yeager is seeking compensation for the victims of the breach.
