Eagle Eye, Brivo obtain backing for cloud-based security solutions

Eagle Eye Networks and Brivo have received a $192 million investment from Secom, a Japan-based security integration company, SiliconANGLE reports. Brivo provides solutions for cloud-based access control and smart space technologies. Its main offering, the Brivo Access Platform, allows enterprises to remotely manage who can access their facilities using any device. Brivo is currently looking into strengthening its security capabilities through integration between AI and its access control and smart space technologies to enable predictive analysis and pattern recognition. Eagle Eye provides cyber-secure, cloud-based video surveillance, with its main product, the Eagle Eye Cloud Video Management System, allowing a centralized platform for managing video surveillance activities. It also leverages AI technology to improve efficiency as well as for advanced video analytics through smart alarms and smart video search. Eagle Eye also provides the Vehicle Intelligence solution, which enables users to identify vehicle-based threats and respond quickly, as well as proactively manage risks.
