Kaseya expands security reach with RocketCyber buy

Managed services firm Kaseya has purchased security operations center solutions specialist RocketCyber to enhance its Kaseya IT Complete platform, reports MicroScope. Kaseya plans to integrate RocketCyber’s cloud-agent security operations center into its Kaseya VSA to become the main ticketing interface for security incidents, allow the deployment of SOC and provide a single sign-on to the service. “The addition of RocketCyber makes Kaseya IT Complete the only integrated platform in the market to deliver managed SOC, automated internal threat detection, credential monitoring, anti-phishing and more for a truly comprehensive, end-to-end cyber security suite that tackles all of today’s modern-day threats. With this acquisition, we have doubled down on our security investments to provide our customers with access to experts who can continuously monitor their IT environments without the cost and complexity of disparate tools,” said Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola. RocketCyber will continue to function as an independent unit and run by Carl Banzhof, the company’s co-founder and CEO.
