The Anonymous-affiliated hacking group Ghost Squad yesterday launched a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack against the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), knocking the white supremacist group's website out of service.

HackRead reported on the outage, quoting one of the attackers who launched the DDoS offensive, who said, “We stand for constitutional rights but they want anyone who is not Caucasian removed from earth so we targeted the KKK official website to show love for our boots on the ground and to send a message that all forms of corruption will be fought.”

The KKK was also a target of Anonymous in November 2015, when the hacktivist group published hundreds of names it claimed were linked to the KKK on Pastebin.
