Former RSA CISO named president and COO of White Ops

New York City-based online fraud firm White Ops has appointed Eddie Schwartz, the former CISO of RSA, as its president and chief operating officer.

With more than 25 years of experience in information security, Schwartz will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy and day-to-day operations of the firm, according to a Monday news release.

He became the first chief information security officer at RSA following the acquisition of NetWitness, a network forensics firm which he co-founded and served as CSO. Prior to his stint at RSA and NetWitness, Schwartz served at chief technology officer at ManTech, CISO at Nationwide Insurance, and as head of security and cyber intelligence at Verizon Enterprise Solutions.

Additionally, he has helped in the growth of the first ISAC for the financial industry. At his new post, Schwartz will be reporting to company CEO Michael Tiffany.
