New cyber services introduced by Microsoft

Human-led services and machine learning have been combined by Microsoft in its new Microsoft Security Experts umbrella managed service that seeks to help clients meet security, privacy, identity, and productivity goals, reports ZDNet. Offered under Microsoft Security Experts are Microsoft Defender Experts for Hunting, which enables improved threat hunting through examining Microsoft Defender, Office 365, identity, and cloud app data, as well as Microsoft Defender Experts for XDR, which facilitates accelerated email, identity, service, and cloud app threat detection, analysis, and response. Microsoft noted that previews for Defender Experts for XDR will begin in the fall. Moreover, Microsoft Security Services for Enterprise, which seeks to bolster cloud security through combined threat hunting and managed XDR, will also be introduced, alongside the already available Microsoft Security Services for Incident Response and its Security Services for Modernization. "Security Experts combines expert-trained technology with human-led services to help organizations achieve more secure, compliant, and productive outcomes," said Microsoft.
