Google pushes out new Chrome version

Google has released a "stable channel" update to its Chrome browser to correct a number of vulnerabilities. Version 4.1.249.1064 resolves three security issues, Mark Larson of the Google Chrome Team said in a Tuesday blog post. One is a cross-origin bypass vulnerability in Google URL, the second is a memory corruption bug in the handling of HTML5 Media and the third is a font handling memory corruption flaw. Exploiting one of these could result in malicious code execution, according to US-CERT. — DK
