For over 20 years, Tom has practiced as a cyber security professional as an executive director of information security for Verizon, a founder of two cyber security consulting firms, and Vice President of Content and Programs for the Cybersecurity Collaborative.
Tom is CEO of MyDataOnly, Inc., which offers privacy and security consultation and security (penetration) testing services. Tom began his career in IT in programming and strategic planning and later founded a customer satisfaction measurement firm.
Tom holds four security certifications (CISSP, CISM, PCIP) and one privacy certification (CIPP/US). He has a master’s degree from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and is a Marine Corps veteran.
Todd Fitzgerald has built information Fortune 500/large company security programs for 20 years. Todd serves as VP, Cybersecurity Strategy and Chairman of the Cybersecurity Collaborative Executive Committee, was named 2016–17 Chicago CISO of the Year, ranked Top 50 Information Security Executive, authored 4 books including #1 Best Selling and 2020 CANON Hall of Fame Winner CISO COMPASS: Navigating Cybersecurity Leadership Challenges with Insights from Pioneers (2019), ground-breaking CISO Leadership: Essential Principles for Success, as well as contributions to a dozen others. Todd held senior leadership positions at Northern Trust, Grant Thornton International, Ltd, ManpowerGroup, WellPoint (Anthem) Blue Cross Blue Shield/ National Government Services, Zeneca/Syngenta, IMS Health and American Airlines.
Matt Walker joined Goosehead in 2023 as Managing Director of IT Security & Compliance. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing Gooseheadâs continuing evolution of digital security and governance. Matt brings to Goosehead over 15 years of experience, previously working with Bain & Company in the Security Architecture and Engineering realm.
