Daon, ForgeRock integrates biometric authentication to Identity Cloud

Daon has partnered with ForgeRock to add its IdentityX biometric authentication platform as another layer of multi-factor authentication to ForgeRocks Identity Cloud product, Biometric Update reports. Daon's IdentityX provides secure device-based biometric authentication in compliance with FIDO standards. The platform, which is also capable of cross-channel, document-based identity proofing, has recently increased its availability by launching at the AWS Marketplace and at the Genesys AppFoundry marketplace. Meanwhile, Identity Cloud provides Identity-as-a-Service capabilities through a no-code interface, which through the partnership receives a new passwordless multi-factor authentication option for customers and one of the first biometric identity proofing and authentication offerings on the service. The integration can be obtained through ForgeRocks Backstage Marketplace.
