Paging Dunder Mifflin. Security firm Symantec warned Thursday of a new trojan whose goal is to drop a file that automatically displays advertisements, a strain of adware known as Eorezo, which mainly targets French-speaking users. But an environmentally insensitive, yet apparently unintentional, side effect of the trojan, dubbed Milicenso, is that the adware file it creates appears to the compromised machine to be a common printer spool file. As such, it triggers unwanted printing until paper runs out. Compromised organizations have been spotted mostly in the United States and India, Symantec said.
