Letter: A Microsoft mystery

I read with great interest your feature on the Top 30 information security companies. It's the first time I've seen such a ranking, but it seems overdue. I am still not sure that I regard Microsoft as an information security company, as it seems that most of the firms in your list exist to ensure that its operating systems and other software offerings can actually operate in a secure manner! Perhaps Vista will change my mind on this.
