Nitro Data Systems has raised $2.5 million in new funding from a group of investors led by Ken Levine, a former principal of Cabletron Systems. The company, a supplier of intrusion prevention systems, also named Terry Christensen as president and COO and moved its corporate headquarters to newly expanded facilities in Portsmouth, N.H.
