This report included an educational technical analysis of the malware used in the Mirai botnet and the attack on the DNC. Through additional research papers, Laliberte has identified and responsibly reported several vulnerabilities in IoT devices, directly improving the security of IoT consumers and the industry.

Inside WatchGuard, Laliberte now servers as a mentor and advocate for information awareness. His co-workers often consult him for input when developing solutions or troubleshooting complex security challenges. Laliberte has also developed several internal tools that aid in generating threat intelligence for the company.
