Adobe announced Thursday it plans to release an update for its popular Flash Player next week to resolve a number of "critical" vulnerabilities.
The software company also expects to issue an update for Adobe AIR 1.5.2 and earlier versions, according to a bulletin. Flash versions 10.0.32.18 and earlier are affected.
The updates are due to arrive on Tuesday, which coincides with the distribution of Microsoft's monthly fixes.
Meanwhile, Adobe is investigating a possible flaw in Illustrator CS4, a computer drawing tool, David Lenoe, a security program manager, said Thursday on the Product Security Incident Response Team blog. The bug can be exploited if a victim is persuaded into opening a malicious .EPS file in Illustrator.
"We are currently investigating this issue and will have an update once we have more information," he said.
