PHISHING A&L TAKES TOP SPOT FROM BARCLAYS

Both the number of emails and targets slipped back in February,suggesting that the phishers took a break following a busy Christmas.Alliance & Leicester took the brunt of the attacks this month in termsof speculative emails while there was little change in the favouredtargets in terms of actual sites. Despite the dip, 2007 is still widelypredicted to be the worst year on record for phishing attacks.
