Email security firm FrontBridge Technologies is to provide some of the technology behind VeriSign's email Security Service.
VeriSign is expected to sell the email security services for spam elimination, virus protection and disaster recovery around the world.
"Email is the communications DNA of any corporation and that is coming under attack," said Judy Lin, executive vice president and general manager for VeriSign Security Services. "By combining FrontBridge technology with our global and scalable infrastructure, VeriSign will be able to provide enterprises with an approach to fight spam and email-propagated viruses."
