Further bolstering its support for government customers, Entrust has gotten its newly upgraded desktop security platform validated by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The platform received the Federal Bridge Enabled Path Validation Module, and also passed testing against the Public Key Interoperability Test Suite (PKITS) developed by NIST, with DigitalNet and the National Security Agency (NSA).
The validation corresponds with the worldwide availability of the company's Desktop Solutions 7.0, an upgraded suite of security software products that enables the deployment and management of a common layer of security for desktop applications, like e-mail, remote access and collaboration.
