Intel Trump shared with Russians came from Israeli hack of ISIS

The intelligence data on ISIS shared by President Donald Trump with Russian officials was gathered by Israeli operatives who hacked into the terror group's networks.

The president caused quite an uproar last month after sharing intelligence on ISIS gathered by an ally with Russian Ambassador Sergey I. Kislyak and Foreign Minister Sergey V. Lavrov, then inadvertently confirming that information came from Israel on a recent visit there. The intelligence included information that ISIS was making bombs that look like laptop batteries, the New York Times reported, citing cyberoperators.

In March, an order was issued banning laptops in the cabins of planes on flights to the U.S. and Europe originating from eight Muslim-majority countries.
