Google Chrome 75 rolls out with 42 security fixes

Google included 42 security fixes with Chrome 75, which it will move to the stable channel for Windows, Mac and Linux over the next several weeks.

Included were two issues rated high, CVE-2019-5828 and CVE-2019-5829. The former is a use after free problem in ServiceWorker and the latter a use after free issue in Download Manager.

Some of the medium-rated issues patched in the update were CVE-2019-5830, which involves incorrectly credentialed requests in CORS; CVE-2019-5831, described as incorrect map processing in V8; CVE-2019-5832, which consists of incorrect CORS handling in XHR; CVE-2019-5833, an inconsistent security UI placement; CVE-2019-5834, a URL spoof in Omnibox on iOS; and CVE-2019-5835, an out of bounds read in Swiftshader.
