SC Magazine has rich content that puts the latest news at my fingertips. The case studies are particularly useful for building business cases, strategies and vision for my company.  The editorials and opinions help me think a little further about the topics they cover and have on more than one occasion provided a few “aha!” moments.

I love the convenient and easy-to-use website and always check it while I'm traveling internationally to stay abreast of what's happening in cyber space and in the United States.  I like that it's laid out with tabs which take me directly to the type of security content I need.  I previously used search engines to find the security news I wanted, but now I find it all just one click away.

I have been an avid reader of SC Magazine for many years and am proud that it has become the de facto magazine for security professionals worldwide.  Their many professional journalists and of course our dear friend Illena Armstrong are easy to find at every major security gathering, looking for new stories and finding new ways to get the word out about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

I like the way that SC Magazine covers security stories – well researched, balanced, easy to understand, and nearly always leaving me with new ways to explain this difficult subject area to others.  I also like their easy-to-use website.  For practitioners the website offers so much, from white papers to buyers guides to case studies to IT security jobs.  Everything you need to know all in one place.  If fact, it ranks right up there with my other favorite web site, the SANS Internet Storm Center. (Sorry, I could not resist!)  Kudos to Illena and her remarkable staff – you all are the best!

The 2011 SC Congress Canada, as in years before, provided a great venue for today's security thought leadership to converge. The tracks were very well organized, and the quality of speakers facilitated for some great knowledge transfer. I found the obvious attention to infrastructure security and privacy very refreshing, and it emphasizes why SC Magazine is the leader in providing vital security content to senior leadership. I would recommend the event to anyone, both in Canada and abroad.

SC Magazine is one of the few bright spots in the many volumes of security-related material I regularly get in my email inbox and my snail mail mailbox. Always topical and timely, SC Magazine is an excellent source to find the latest security issues and updates I'm most concerned about.

They lead the news with the magazine and the website is quite simply one of the most important sources of security information available to the busy security professional. The SC website is one of the best with up-to-the-minute security information along with archives that help you find almost anything you've ever seen. I don't think a month goes by that I don't search the SC archives for something. Finally. the SC Awards program is where I think Illena and her team truly shine and are leading the industry. Everything from their vendor product awards to the personal and security team awards, they devote a tremendous amount of work to making the annual awards banquet the very best in the world.”
