Phishing - Attacks are on the rise again
After a quiet month in June, the phishers are starting to ramp upactivity with the number of emails going out rising by just over 30 percent. The Cooperative Bank, which was targeted heavily last month, hasgone right off the villain's radar, suggesting a less than successfulphishing expedition among the Manchester-based bank's customers.Instead, attention now seems to have switched back to old favouriteseBay and PayPal.
