Implementing the solution was very straightforward. We were able to install it in our test Windows environment within minutes. The ePO management functionality is slick. Its Flash-based interface makes navigating common tasks a bit easier than most products. One of the first things administrators may notice are the customizable dashboards that users are presented with once they log into the console. The reporting interfaces are presented in small widgets, which display all the important metrics and reporting information for the various components of the solution.
The product is a testament to convergence. It is truly full-featured and a single, unified solution which would require several agents and vendors if deployed separately. Use of the server console is fairly intuitive, and developing policies for the endpoints takes just a slight learning curve. Overall, the suite has an impressive number of features and is easy to administer.
Documentation is available in PDF form or contained within the ePO web interface. We found the documentation adequate with regard to helping us through the major features of the solution.
Gold support is included with the purchase and includes 24/7/365 phone, email and web assistance for one year. Additional support options are available through McAfee as well.
