This product is almost as plug-and-play as it comes. The installation is launched from an executable, which launches an installation wizard. After following a few steps on the wizard, the product installs as a service. After installation, the initial configuration is done by a guided workflow that assists in getting the product up and integrated with the environment. We found this whole process quite intuitive and easy to follow. Further management is done via the web GUI. We found the GUI to be easy to use with a well-organized layout.
This product provides support for changing passwords remotely on the target systems and it ensures that passwords in critical systems do not remain static. Password Manager Pro can integrate and manage passwords for many platforms, including Windows and Windows domain accounts, Microsoft SQL Server, Linux, Cisco devices, and Juniper Netscreen Firewalls.
Documentation provided with this product was a single HTML-based help file. While we did like the basic layout and the amount of detail of the documentation, we found that overall the documentation had a lack of screen shots and examples.
