Dan Beard, chief administrative officer of the House of Representatives, was tasked with revamping the House's security policies, notably the training of end-users. SC Magazine Executive Editor Dan Kaplan spoke with Beard, as well as a number of other IT experts in similar positions, on the need to educate employees on proper digital safeguards. He found that the human element is the largest security risk in any organization. Technology solutions are one part of the fix, but holding classes is another vital step.
