It’s that time of year again when we head out into the desert for some hacker fun! If you are a regular listener to the show you may have heard us mention a few things about this year’s Blackhat and Defcon conferences. I thought I would summarize some events and such where you can find some of the personalities on the Security Weekly show this week:
Tenable Booth #741 – I will be here during Blackhat, for the most part :) Stop by and say hi, and be certain to check out my two mini booth talks: “Scan ALL the Things: Find the Evil Lurking in Your Network” and “Uncovering Smartphone Vulnerabilities that Expose Your Organization: A Hands-Free Approach” The scheduled times are listed on the Tenable Black Hat homepage.
Tenable Party – Whoohoo! The Tenable team did a great job planning the party this year, I was really only in charge of the cigars, and I hand selected some outstanding cigars for guests to enjoy this year. You had to register for the party to attend, but if you didn’t swing by the Tenable Booth to get on the waiting list (or if you can flag me down I *may* have extra passes with me). See you at the Mix Lounge, 64th Floor, THEhotel on Wednesday, August 6 from 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
