Report: Target hackers steal card data from another parking company

Security journalist Brian Krebs has revealed that a third parking service has been targeted by the same cybercriminals who hit Target and Home Depot in major payment card breaches.

The latest victim, online parking reservation service Book2Park.com, confirmed that malicious files were planted on its web server, Krebs reported Monday. Anna Infante, the owner of Book2Park.com, said the malware was removed, but that she was not aware that anywhere from hundreds to thousands of cards belonging to customers were already being sold online through a carding site called Rescator.

Last month, another parking operator, Park ‘N Fly, notified customers that their payment card data was at risk after a “security compromise.” Krebs said that the same hacker group that compromised Target and Home Depot, started selling card info from Park ‘N Fly, and another breached service, OneStopParking.com, in December.
